EDUCATIONAL TRUST

Since 2008, the WPN through the Educational Trust has awarded over ninety bursaries to previously disadvantaged female students studying towards a property related degree or diploma. As one of the WPN's major initiatives, the Educational Trust would seek to continue awarding bursaries.

The WPN Educational Trust has been established to:

Identify worthy candidates for educational sponsorship of property degrees
Introduce these young candidates to WPN
Develop a pool of young blood into the industry
THE WPN EDUCATIONAL TRUST IS ADMINISTERED BY THE FOLLOWING TRUSTEES:

Ipeleng Mkhari
Founder and CEO of Motseng Investment Holdings

Refqah Fataar Ho-Yee
Director of Smith Tabata Buchanan

Jackie van Niekerk
COO of Attacq
I wish to express my sincerest gratitude to the WPN for including me in this incredible bursary programme. Last year, the bursary came at a time when I felt helpless with no hope of getting funding.

My favourite part about the Educational Trust is how you include the bursary students in the networking events. This year alone, I have met two of my industry idols and had the opportunity to thank them for paving the path for me and plenty of others.

I have just completed my BSc Quantity Surveying Honours degree and am currently in the Turner & Townsend graduate programme. The experience I am getting here is incredible and I am privileged to be working with seasoned professionals in this field.

Thank you so much to you and the WPN for all that you have done for me in the past two years. I will forever remain indebted to you.

Kind Regards

Nthabiseng
